The Six Modes and Snazzy Swap's Swap-and-Match Rules
Selecting a mode opens onto six choices: Snazzy Swap, Clearing Clusters, Falling Star, Moving 4-Ward, Pathfinder and Gravity Switch. In Snazzy Swap, the field opens with 64 multicolored gems. The player selects any two adjacent gems to exchange their positions, aiming to build vertical or horizontal rows of identical color. A swap that fails to complete a full row of three identical gems or more is undone immediately, returning both gems to their original slots, so every exchange must produce a line to count.
When a row is filled, the matched gems vanish from the field and the score rises, with each removed gem replaced by a new one in the same slot. Longer rows award larger scores, and completing two rows at once, vertically or horizontally, is worth pursuing. The shaft overloads and the game ends when no adjacent pair remains whose swap could form a full row. Snazzy Swap also activates a Combo bar on the left side of the field after a row is cleared, shown below the high score; filling another row before the bar shrinks away continues the Combo series.
Combos, Score Tiers and Color-Wipe Multipliers
Each cleared row in Snazzy Swap has a defined value that climbs steeply with length. A row of three identical gems scores 500 points, four gems 1,500, five gems 5,000, six gems 50,000, seven gems 250,000, eight gems 500,000, nine gems 1,000,000, and a full row of ten gems 2,500,000. Because the top tier dwarfs the shorter rows, the field rewards building the longest single line the 64-gem board allows rather than settling for frequent small matches.
A Combo bar appears on the left side of the field once a row is cleared, with its current value displayed below the high score. Filling another row before the bar shrinks away continues the series and raises the multiplier; if the bar vanishes first, the streak ends. While a Combo is active and rows are formed, the next score is multiplied by the value shown beneath the high score, so a run of quick clears can lift even a modest row far above its base tier.
Cluster Clearing, Patterns and Special Icons
In the cluster-clearing mode, the field begins full of gems, and the player picks adjacent gems of the same color, or whole groups of them, to select a prospective cluster and preview the reward for removing it. Confirming the selection by choosing the group a second time dissolves those gems. Clearing a larger group in a single move yields more points, and removing every gem of one color doubles that move's score. Fully emptying the playfield unlocks up to three bonus levels, which add further scoring opportunities.
Scoring in this mode counts the successfully cleared clusters of at least two identical gems; larger patterns pay more, with a pattern's score calculated as the number of gems in it multiplied by 500. Special icons appear from time to time in vacant fields and can be triggered for effects. One releases a meteorite that knocks random gems off the field for a period. Another multiplies the score of the next successful move by five, so pairing it with a big pattern raises the payout considerably.
Gravity Switch and the Three Bonus Levels
Gravity Switch sets itself apart because cleared gems are not replenished after every move. Instead, the mode's namesake mechanic lets the player change the direction of gravity, instantly rearranging the playing field; switching direction moves the gems upward and shifts them into new alignments. Those altered positions create fresh opportunities to form clusters, so the player manages gravity deliberately rather than waiting for refills to reshape the board.
Emptying the entire playing field in Gravity Switch unlocks a bonus level, and up to three bonus levels can be opened this way. Each unlocked bonus level introduces an additional gem color to the field, adding to the palette the player must work with. Unlocking all three therefore depends on clearing the board repeatedly while using gravity direction changes to pull gems together into clusters.
