Three Ways to Fight: Soldier, Tank, Spaceship

Combat unfolds through three distinct play modes, each tied to a different member of the Battle Barn crew. Ace takes the field on foot as a soldier, fighting directly at ground level. Runt handles the armored tank, driving the vehicle rather than acting as infantry. Abby flies the spaceship as its pilot, putting the action in the air. The recurring objective across these modes is to combat foes, and the game presents each mode as its own way of approaching that fight rather than a single shared style of play.

The three modes are built around the roles of the Hollywood versions of the characters: Ace, Runt and Abby from the intergalactic Battle Barn. Ace's mode is defined by being a soldier on foot, Runt's by driving an armored tank, and Abby's by piloting a spaceship. The game sets these against Foxy Loxy and her Amazonian sidekick Goosey Loosey, whose plan is to take over Earth, and it asks the player to combat foes through the levels spanning the solar system, with each mode contributing its own form of fighting.

Across the Solar System: Levels and Alien Robots

The structure of the campaign is a run of multiple levels set across the solar system, and the stated task in each of them is to battle evil alien robots. That objective gives the mode-switching a throughline: whether the player is fighting at ground level as Ace, driving Runt's armored tank, or piloting Abby's spaceship, the enemies being fought are the alien robots met across those levels. The modes are not separate campaigns but different ways of entering the same fight as the crew moves outward through the solar system.

The opposition belongs to Foxy Loxy and her Amazonian sidekick Goosey Loosey, whose plan is to take over Earth, and the crew facing them is the intergalactic Battle Barn, made up of the Hollywood versions of Ace, Runt, Abby and Fish-Out-of-Water. In gameplay terms, the solar-system levels are where the evil alien robots are battled, and the three modes divide that work among the crew by role: Ace on foot, Runt in the tank, Abby at the spaceship's controls. The Earth takeover plan frames the fighting without changing the level-to-level objective.

The Battle Barn Crew and the Fight for Earth

The intergalactic Battle Barn crew is drawn from the Hollywood versions of the film's characters: Ace, the superhero alter ego of Chicken Little, joined by his misfit friends Runt, Abby and Fish-Out-of-Water. Flying aboard the Battle Barn, this crew faces Foxy Loxy and her evil Amazonian sidekick, Goosey Loosey. The pair's stated scheme is to take over Earth, and the crew's opposing mission places their confrontation against that takeover plan as the campaign's framing conflict, with the squad positioned as the force that stands against it.

The Battle Barn crew's fight for Earth plays out by battling evil alien robots through multiple levels set across the solar system. Across those levels, foes are combated through one of three distinct gameplay modes: Ace on foot, Runt in a tank and Abby in a spaceship. So the Earth takeover plan frames the conflict while the level-to-level work is engaging the alien robots, and the crew's members divide that work by mode. Fish-Out-of-Water is named as part of the crew without a documented mode of their own.

Cut Scenes: The Film Cast Meets the Hollywood Versions

Between the solar-system levels, cut scenes appear throughout the game to connect the action. These scenes feature the original Chicken Little alongside his friends Abby, Runt and Fish as the audience knows them from the film. The on-foot soldier, the armored tank Runt drives and the spaceship Abby pilots belong to the in-story Hollywood production, so the cut scenes set the film versions of the characters beside those Hollywood versions. The contrast is drawn by casting rather than by a change in the fighting modes themselves: the soldier, tank and spaceship roles stay with Ace, Runt and Abby in the Battle Barn footage.

The Hollywood side of that meeting is the Battle Barn crew. Ace is the superhero alter ego of Chicken Little, and the misfit band around him is made up of the Hollywood versions of Runt, Abby and Fish-Out-of-Water. That crew faces Foxy Loxy and her evil Amazonian sidekick Goosey Loosey, who plan to take over Earth. So the cut scenes place the original film characters and the Hollywood versions of the same friends in one framing device, while the villain pair and the Earth takeover scheme belong to the Battle Barn story that the levels depict.
